What I'm doing now

What I'm Learning

I started learning TypeScript. Better late than never.

I never really felt the need for TypeScript, in either my professional or my personal projects. But it is becoming a "must-know" for a modern dev and, for all its faults, AI can help you speed up the learning process. So now's the time!

So currently, instead of wasting Claude tokens on prompts that make me think and work less, I can use them to turn Claude into my private tutor.

Projects

In no particular order, depending on my mood:

  • Fine-tuning Când e liber?
  • Bringing Mangazup back from the dead
  • Attempting a web port (or rather a "homage" port) of dsBudget, the only budgeting app I've ever liked. Ties in with my TypeScript lessons
  • Trying to stay relevant as a developer in the AI era...

Life

While running has become an integral part of my life, I've fallen out of the habit of working out regularly. And since the "corpore sano" part of the saying needs strength workouts, not just cardio, I'm slowly building that habit back.

This is a now page, inspired by Derek Sivers. It shows what I'm focused on at this point in my life.
